I continue to experiment with inks and paintings. This time I put the pinata ink directly in contact with the clay before baking. I was planning to sand the gold after baking to give it a look a bit more " batik" but I found the result so shiny that I abandonned the idea. But this necklace and earrings are a bit special, they are real survivors. After 25 minutes of baking, I heard a crazy noise coming from my kitchen and when I got there, I discovered that the baking paper in the oven had taken fire. Inspired by my training watching Chicago Fire on tv, I took the first dishcloth I found and stopped the fire. I still dont know what really happened in my oven and I was quite scared by all that but this experiment gave the name to the pendant and earrings : Burrasca like the tempest in Italian. Several photos : with light , without light and the CRIME SCENE !
